“You know, the difference between 60 and the 80 gigabyte is very small. We just feel that going up 20 gigabyte is not worth it. If you’re going to double it, it’s worth it. So maybe you’ll see something a little bit later, but 60 and 80? Really not much difference.”

Sony Europe of course, is keeping the base PS3 price but they’re adding 2 games AND another SIXAXIS controller. Sounds good to me!

Sony America thinks that Americans are stupid and that adding 20gb of space will a) aid gamers that aren’t downloading anything anyway and b) make us stupid americans feel like we’re getting a good buy regardless of that whole “it probably costs them the SAME amount as the 60gb if not less at this point in time” fact.

Could common sense prevail? Even though he’s crazy?
